Hello,

This is Chief Director Kim Ga-eul.

Today's topic is hair removal,

specifically a Q&A list regarding Brazilian hair removal.

At BeautyStone, about 50 people come in every day for hair removal.

While getting hair removal on various areas such as beard, underarms, etc.,

there are common questions that arise, haha.

Accordingly, I will write the Q&A from 1 to 10.

1️⃣ How many sessions are needed for effective Brazilian hair removal for women?

I think effectiveness is very subjective.

Some people want it completely gone,

while others hope for a reduction in density.

So when explaining hair removal, I usually describe it in terms of density (%).

👉 It takes about 5 sessions for over 70% of the hair to disappear,
👉 and about 10 sessions for approximately 95% of the hair to disappear.

This is because energy is adjusted according to density, and wavelength is changed according to hair thickness.

2️⃣ Is laser hair removal effective even for thick and dense hair?

It is the most effective.

If you have thick and dense hair, you will be under a lot of stress because of it.

When shaving, you might get hurt by the sharp hair edges, and it's difficult to maintain hygiene.

It requires more sessions than someone with lower density, but

the effectiveness is proportional to the number of treatments.

3️⃣ Which option provides higher satisfaction: complete hair removal or designed hair removal?

You can design your hair removal in the desired direction,

and satisfaction varies according to individual goals and styles.

If you want to remove hair almost completely and keep it looking clean, complete hair removal tends to have higher satisfaction,

while if you want to maintain a natural shape while tidying up, many prefer designed hair removal.

4️⃣ Does the treatment method change according to skin type or color?

The darker the skin type, the safer it is when using 1064nm.

Using 755nm for hair removal carries a higher risk of burns.

5️⃣ What are the key points to reduce side effects when doing Brazilian hair removal?

What is the main point?

It is important to apply ointment well after the procedure to prevent folliculitis during the sensitive moment.

Also, it’s crucial not to shave.

Shaving creates tiny wounds on the skin surface, and

by allowing bacteria to enter through opened pores, the risk of folliculitis or inflammation increases.

6️⃣ How much gap should there be between the menstrual cycle and the treatment?

It’s good to have the treatment one week before the period.

Allow for a recovery period of about 4 days after the treatment for effectiveness.

Therefore, rather than right before the period, it is better to schedule around 7 to 21 days after the start date!

7️⃣ How painful is it? Is it very painful?

We do apply anesthetic cream, but body hair removal is usually not very painful.

However, please note that the Brazilian area tends to be a bit more painful.

8️⃣ Is it embarrassing if it's the first time? What kind of atmosphere is the procedure done in?

It is conducted very privately, so it’s not very embarrassing.

Just like no one is embarrassed when getting a surgery :)

9️⃣ Should I shave the anal hair before I go? If so, how should I do it?

Please shave the anal hair as well.

Since it can get irritated or cut,

you don't have to try to make it too clean.

🔟 Once you start, do you have to continue? Is it okay to stop in between?

It’s okay to stop.

You may worry that a longer interval and stopping halfway will affect previous treatments,

but it doesn’t cause major issues.

However,

longer intervals

👉slows down the completion of the treatment

Stopping halfway

👉 does not eliminate the previous hair removal effects

is something to keep in mind.

That concludes the Q&A session for questions regarding Brazilian hair removal.

Thank you for reading the long article.

Best regards,

Kim Ga-eul.
