Why on earth won't my pores tighten?

The game changer for pores and acne scars, Cure Jet.

Hello

I am Chief Director Kim Ga-eul.

One of the questions I often hear when seeing patients is,

specifically about 'pores'

Today, I would like to focus on discussing pores.

If you feel stressed out by your pores that seem to be getting larger every year,

it might be good to read a bit about this.

Because,,

I am also having similar concerns,.

Everyone says they want to reduce their pores, but

before proceeding with treatment, we should first clarify what the 'pores' we need to fight against actually are,

and it seems necessary to clearly identify their nature first.

First, let’s visually check how pores look.

I will mention this again later, but,,

usually, those who say they have a lot of pores

are often actually referring to "scarring caused by pores."

My skin is exactly like this

I was an acne expert when I was young.. it was my nickname,.

Especially as a child,

the secretion of sebum is high, making acne easily occur, right?

This sebum is secreted from the pores,

and when this area gets infected, folliculitis and acne tend to occur.

In this process, large acnes leave scars in the pores,

making them appear wider

First, let’s see how exactly a pore is formed.

The image above shows a diagram and physical structure of pores,

please take a closer look ~

Around the pores, there are two key structures.

The sebaceous gland and hair (not shown in the picture)

  1. Hair: Pores are the path through which hair grows.

  2. Sebaceous Gland: A factory of oil located next to the hair.

In short, we can define pores as holes through which hair comes out and pipes through which sebum is discharged.

During the summer, when sebum secretion is high, pores naturally open,

while in winter, when sebum secretion is low, they tend to appear smaller through contraction.

In the end, both high sebum secretion and

thicker hair are reasons that contribute to the widening of pores.

If you happen to have many dark black hairs around the pores,

consider hair removal as it can also be very effective…

In the end, it’s about identifying the cause, right?

Not scarring, but pure 'pore expansion'

  • Amount of Sebum Secretion: In summer, the discharge holes (pores) naturally widen, and in winter, they contract again as sebum reduces.

  • Thickness of Hair: If the hair is thick, the hole through which it grows is also thick..

Three-Line Summary!

  1. Is it pure pore expansion? (Identify if it's not a scar)

  2. Check if the hair is dark

  3. If not,,, seek treatment (CureJet, redness treatment)
