Hello
I am Kim Ga-eul, who is serious about hair removal!

Today's topic is a Q&A list about hair removal, particularly Brazilian hair removal.
At Beauty Stone, about 50 people come in a day to receive hair removal services.
While receiving hair removal in areas such as beard removal and armpit removal,
there are common questions that many people seem to have! Haha
So, I will try to write a Q&A accordingly.
There are 10 questions!
For women, how many sessions of Brazilian hair removal
are needed for results to appear?
I think effectiveness is very subjective.
Some people want complete hair removal,
while others just want a reduced density.
So when I explain hair removal, I usually talk about it in terms of percentage of density.

Hair removal at Beauty Stone can yield faster results than elsewhere.
To see over 70% of hair disappear, 5 sessions are needed,
and to achieve about 95% hair removal, 10 sessions are required.
This is because the energy is adjusted according to density and the wavelength is changed based on hair thickness.
2. For coarse and dense hair,
is the laser hair removal effective?
It is the most effective.
If the hair is thick and dense, it often causes a lot of stress.
When it's shaved, it can cause cuts with its sharp edges,
and it's also difficult to manage hygienically.
More sessions are needed compared to people with lower density,
but that's natural, and effectiveness correlates with the number of sessions.
Between complete hair removal and design hair removal,
which option has higher satisfaction?
Design hair removal can be done in the desired direction.
Does the method of treatment change
according to skin type or color?
For dark skin and thick hair, 1064nm is the best.
Hair removal without this knowledge is like a rice cake without filling!

The darker the skin type, the safer it is to use 1064.
Using 755nm for hair removal carries a higher risk of burns, (for Black people, Southeast Asians, and tanned East Asians).
What is the most important point to minimize side effects
when undergoing Brazilian hair removal?
Do not shave after the treatment, and apply ointment well afterward
so that folliculitis does not occur during the delicate phase.

And, do not shave!
What is the recommended interval
to have treatments in relation to the menstrual cycle?
It's good to have the treatment up to one week before your period.
It is recommended to allow about 4 days for sufficient recovery after treatment.
Do not schedule it right before your period!
It is said to be good to schedule 7-21 days after the start of your period!
How painful is it? Is it very painful?
We do use numbing cream,
but body hair removal is usually not very painful.
However, the Brazilian area can be a bit more painful,
so please keep that in mind.

8. Is it embarrassing for someone doing this for the first time?
What kind of environment does the treatment take place in?
It is conducted very privately, so it is not very embarrassing.
Just like no one feels embarrassed when undergoing surgery.
Do I need to shave my anal hair before the procedure?
If so, how should I do it?
Please shave the anal hair as well.
You don't need to try too hard to make it too clean.
There is a risk of injury from shaving.

10. Once you start, do you have to continue?
Is it okay to stop midway?
It's okay to stop.
People tend to worry that longer intervals and interruptions might affect previous treatments,
but it is not a problem at all.
1. A longer interval > the treatment takes longer to complete.
1.2 Stopping midway > it does not erase the existing hair removal effects.

Even if you have plans,
is it okay to undergo Brazilian hair removal?
It is not a problem at all.
All treatments cannot be performed during pregnancy.
