How Is Masseter Botox
Different From Other Areas?
Masseter Botox involves injecting the drug
directly into the masseter muscle (the chewing muscle)
to temporarily reduce its activity.
Unlike forehead Botox, which targets expression lines,
the goal with masseter Botox is to reduce
the volume of the chewing muscle itself.
That means the timeline for results looks different,
and the mechanism behind those results is entirely different, too.
With glabellar Botox, you can often see results within 3–4 days —
but with masseter Botox, there's almost no visible change at that point.
